Since each culture has different historical backgrounds and traditions, folklore has different definitions for each culture. Folklore enables people to give meaning to life, and learn some moral value or understand their traditional lifestyle from the story line.
Malaysia and foreign ?
Modern progress has made young generation gradually forget that their original ethnic traditional life is more informal and uninteresting. Instead, more passionate about foreign things than their own countries.
Modern technology
That's why we need to make Malaysian folk stories interesting, so that modern children can continue to understand their country’s traditional cultural stories and legends even through high technology.
